It's easy to relate ourselves to enchanting landscapes. It's glorious when the landscape also relates to us.
It was only after sunset, still in twilight, but the sparkle came back to my eyes. Moloka'i was about to amaze me, and I, somehow, knew it. The night was magnificent, indescriptible. The Moon was there, once again, coloring everything it touched, helped by a timid twilight. This time, the solitude invited, not to connect with the landscape, but to be part of it. As I said earlier, you just can't run in Moloka'i. The contrast of a dark and ghostly past imprinted on a stunning background of thousands of stars was completely puzzling me.
