The story
After realizing that I actually captured some aurora when checking another image (first time for me and without leaving California!), I went to check all my pics for shots pointing north from that outing… Not too many, sadly, but I saw this one shooting at my car (my goal was just getting some stars reflected on it), and what do you know, the timid aurora is reflecting nicely on the hood of the car (the pink stuff). Pretty cool and me totally unaware of what was going on.
