The story

About 10 days per year, mid-late February right before sunset, if there has been enough snowfall recently and there’s no clouds – especially low around the western horizon – a magical game of lights and shadows happens right at the Horse Tail Falls in Yosemite for just about 5~10 minutes. The red sunset light only hits a small area in the granite walls that reflect right to where the waterfall is, making it appear as if it’s on fire. The image you see is 4 pane mosaic I captured on February 14, 2017 where you can also see the always impressive walls of El Capitan.

Fuji Pearl paper is a super high gloss finish, archival paper. It has a better gloss than glossy photo paper, thicker paper and it contains pigments and other materials that give purer whites and sharper, better defined highlights. We ship our prints flat, not rolled, regardless of the size.

Metal prints are a modern and visually striking way to display photographs. The printing process involves infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, resulting in vibrant and durable prints with a unique, high-gloss finish. Metal prints are always shipped ready to hang.
