The story

This colorful panorama at Silver Lake in California delights us by displaying many of the colors one can find in the night. Above the trees to the left, an aurora (quite rare for these latitudes) timidly declares its space in the panorama with otherwise unusual pinkish colors. Green airglow spreads across the entire sky, while the Milky Way does a peek-a-boo above Thunder Mountain showing us its classic colors over the river of stars. Near the end to the right, the light pollution, possibly from the city of Sonora, adds one last brush of color to the view. Captured during a delirious road exploration night, a long and wet California winter still had the lake partially covered in snow.

Fuji Pearl paper is a super high gloss finish, archival paper. It has a better gloss than glossy photo paper, thicker paper and it contains pigments and other materials that give purer whites and sharper, better defined highlights. We ship our prints flat, not rolled, regardless of the size.

Metal prints are a modern and visually striking way to display photographs. The printing process involves infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, resulting in vibrant and durable prints with a unique, high-gloss finish. Metal prints are always shipped ready to hang.
