Dear developer,

I'm using astrothumbs and I'm pleased with it as it shows me the files so I can easily find what I'm looking for.

However I'm missing as feature that would make this tool even better 🙂

At the moment you can choose to either stretch or no not stretch the preview.

This however is not handy, as you will have both types of files on your computer.

So I would suggest to offer a third choice called "Auto".

This will check the MAD of the file and based on that will stretch it or not, so linear data will be stretched and non-linear data not.

And as most images off an RGB bayered camera will turn "Green" if you do a linked stretch, the logic could also check for this.

As now most of my images that are linear and I use the option "stretch", they are all green. I know that you could also add a option as linked versus un-linked, but having this auto would be the best choice.

Hope my ideas will make it to a new version of this great tool.

Regards,

Rudy
