Welcome to DeepParallax!
DeepParallax is a sophisticated, highly customizable tool that turns a single 2D image into a variety of 3D representations and animations: an interactive depth map, a stereoscopic side-by-side pair, a red/cyan anaglyph, separate left/right views, custom fly-by 3D animations, and a looping wigglegram, all from one 2D image. A floating Dynamic Preview window follows every adjustment we make, showing the current result live as we define our 3D model.
The tool is full of features suited for for general-purpose imagery: it works on everyday photographs, landscapes, portraits, and any subject where a single image is all we have. On top of that, DeepParallax includes a large number of specific tools designed to deal with the particular and complex case of astroimages.
Perhaps, DeepParallax’s most impressive and one of a kind feature is its ability to produce a 3D representation where each star in the image is placed at a depth proportional to the star’s REAL distance and parallax from us.

DeepParallax is not free, but you can try it for 30 days, with only two features reserved for registered users: saving video animations at high-resolution, and non-watermarked videos. The unregistered version allows saving our animations in all available formats (MP4, AVI, GIF, and PNG), but only at the lowest resolution, and it adds a Made with DeepParallax overlay. All other features are 100% available, and they're plenty!
If you want to use DeepParallax after the trial period, it's a one-time payment of 7.99 US$ for the Standard version (all features except Real Depth), and 18.99 US$ for the Pro version (all features, including Real Depth). No subscription fees: your copy is yours to keep and use forever. You would also receive free upgrades within the major version you purchased.
NOTE that the trial version does offer the Real Depth feature during the entire trial period.
DeepParallax is only distributed via a PixInsight repository, as this is the easiest and safest way to install new PixInsight modules.
All we need to do to install our trial copy is add the DeepParallax repository to our PixInsight installation:

With the repository URL in place, we now do RESOURCES > Updates > Check for Updates. The DeepParallax process will appear as a candidate for installation, automatically selected. We click Apply.
After that, PixInsight will inform us that the install will happen once we restart PixInsight. We do that, and DeepParallax will be under PROCESS > DeepSkyColors and PROCESS > Render.
DeepParallax is available for all platforms: Windows, Linux, and macOS (x64 and arm64). PixInsight 1.9.4 or later is required for the macOS arm64 version.

3D generators often have a hard time dealing with fields full of stars. Not only DeepParallax solves that problem (and others), it can render stars at their real depth!
Classic 3D generator DeepParallax Stars are believed to have depth, creating a swimming fish effect. Stars are treated as single point light sources, and each is given its own real depth, or if we like, using our criteria (random, brightness-driven, etc). Spikes travel with the star, no trails, no fish!!.

DeepParallax can be registered for personal use under a paid license. If you wish to use DeepParallax for commercial, business, or organizational purposes, please contact us to discuss appropriate licensing options.
No subscriptions, all free v1.xx updates. Your copy is yours and once registered, it will never be deactivated. You can install and use it on any machine you have also installed PixInsight, for any of the available operating systems (your registration is valid for all offered platforms) or number of installations, as long as they are for you to use.
