The story

After a necessary scouting visit, I headed to this place at night, under the moonlight. It’s not a long walk but it can get a bit eerie at times, even if you’re used to hike alone at night.Somewhere in the island of Moloka’i, nowhere near a public road, and next to a beautiful beach that once was the hideout of outlaws, a dramatic landscape can surprise you, maybe even spook you.The moment you enter, the view is almost dismal, especially at night….. Remains of a resort that was abandoned to its luck after arguments of the owners with the locals… Palm trees that were beheaded on their way out stand everywhere you look, nestling what’s left from the tentalows that still remain… A rusty playground structure, allegedly built to appease the spirits of their ancestors who wanted to hear children playing again.. Stories of past thieves and outlaws, some dare to say the place is haunted….To me though, it was different. First, a feeling of sadness took over quickly, yet, the night was so gorgeous that the contrast of a dark and ghostly past imprinted on a stunning background of thousands of stars was completely puzzling me.

Fuji Pearl paper is a super high gloss finish, archival paper. It has a better gloss than glossy photo paper, thicker paper and it contains pigments and other materials that give purer whites and sharper, better defined highlights. We ship our prints flat, not rolled, regardless of the size.

Metal prints are a modern and visually striking way to display photographs. The printing process involves infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, resulting in vibrant and durable prints with a unique, high-gloss finish. Metal prints are always shipped ready to hang.
