A Perfect Night

The story

There was an absurd amount of airglow the two nights I was in Death Valley this past weekend – pretty much as the last time I visited it a year ago. Void of structure but surely tinting the sky in most of the pictures. That and the thin clouds that were present this night, plus the unfortunate light pollution from the LA/SD metropolitan areas nearly 200 miles away really helped making a living rainbow out of the sky in this scene. The camera was having a ball, and me… me, I don’t need to tell you! Despite being right next to an uncomfortable edgy drop to the right (not obvious in the image) the whole experience wandering those dunes that night on my own terms was an absolute “Top 10” in my list, for now at least. And that’s saying something.

Fuji Pearl paper is a super high gloss finish, archival paper. It has a better gloss than glossy photo paper, thicker paper and it contains pigments and other materials that give purer whites and sharper, better defined highlights. We ship our prints flat, not rolled, regardless of the size.

Metal prints are a modern and visually striking way to display photographs. The printing process involves infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, resulting in vibrant and durable prints with a unique, high-gloss finish. Metal prints are always shipped ready to hang.
